When it comes to Welcome to Plathville star Micah Plath’s new live-in love, Veronica Peters, fans are often unkind. Since his girlfriend hasn’t really done anything to anyone, and seems to love her partner, it’s a bit strange that she’s getting attacked. However, it’s not so unexpected. In fact, it’s predictable to a mind-numbing degree. Micah is a handsome guy who’s modeled – he’s pleasant, smart and ripped from relentless workouts. For this reason, he may be someone that fans adore. Now that Veronica’s in the picture, it’s probably much harder for them to imagine themselves with him.
Yes, fans get jealous. If they want to date Micah, but have to watch him build a serious romance with a gorgeous blonde who’s accomplished and successful, that may rub them the wrong way. In fact, it may bring out the claws. Really, it already has, as there aren’t too many logical reasons why Veronica’s getting trashed. She’s just started showing her face on the show.

This is why boy-banders hide their girlfriends sometimes – it’s such a buzz-kill for “in love” fans when their idols pair up. So, everything’s different for Welcome to Plathville‘s Micah Plath now, and Veronica must withstand the piercing death stare of the green-eyed monster… well, an army of “crushing on Micah” green-eyed monsters. These keyboard warriors always have time to find fault with the woman who got herself a good education and then mastered the art of selling luxury real estate.
That’s a delicate art – plenty of finesse is needed to coax rich people into buying stuff. They are used to being catered to. They expect VIP service, knowledge, and so much more. Veronica, who sells expensive homes in the Boca Raton, Florida area, delivers. However, her skills don’t impress fans who wish Micah was with them instead of her.

all the time, but he’s obviously happy, as seen in the clip above, and Veronica’s expression is so serene. While “bliss” isn’t an all the time thing, the young woman does look “blissed-out” in the clip shown above. And why shouldn’t she? Micah is actually a pretty classy person. Yes, he has a bit of an ego, but he’s generally nice, and he’s supported his family during some tough times.
While Micah sided with his family over Olivia, most people would do the same thing – blood is thicker than water. He got into hot water when he stated, without really coming out and saying it, that Olivia was more likely to be the cheater in her marriage with Ethan. That relationship is over. He was defending his brother for being perceived as an adulterer after being spotted with a mystery brunette at a bar. However, Olivia probably left Ethan before he went out on the town with someone else.
In the comments section of the post above, one fan had issues. They decided to share their negativity with all and sundry. Hopefully, Veronica doesn’t read all the disses every day. This fan kept it relatively simple, saying:

Okay, fair enough! However, if someone asked that Welcome to Plathville viewer if they were jealous, they might have to concede that they were. They might deny it even though it’s true. Yes, Veronica’s beauty is slightly offbeat compared to Micah’s. He’s a classic pretty boy – his look is very “mass taste.” He has commercial appeal. Veronica, who probably shouldn’t have showed her face, seems more mature, not as “cookie cutter” pretty as him. But that doesn’t mean she isn’t beautiful. In fact, she’s more interesting because she doesn’t fit that mold.
Yes, she’s very attractive, but Micah is used to being a pretty boy and her looks may not even be the main attraction. She’s an intelligent person. She knows all about business, architecture, real estate… she has a college degree. She’s polished and pulled together, but “under the hood,” there is more. Micah, who’s used to being dismissed as a “himbo,” may find all of that intoxicating.
His flighty mother, Kim, wasn’t really a big-time career woman, and it’s safe to say that Micah thinks Veronica’s career is sexy. Otherwise, he wouldn’t date her. He’s proud of her. That’s why he tells off fans who are mean to her. Even Olivia Plath has done so – she’s not Micah’s best buddy by any means, but she accused fans of “misogyny.” Olivia’s gotten more than a taste of that herself.
Veronica will keep getting abuse. Hopefully, it won’t negatively impact her career. The people who buy high-end real estate may not be Welcome To Plathville fans. They may not even be aware that she’s appearing on the show. Basically, fans don’t like the look of Veronica, or whatever, but they’re obviously jealous. They’re taking time out of their day, trying to get a reaction from a woman who’s a total stranger. That denotes some level of emotional investment, however weak.
Fans are clearly hoping for a breakup, but why would they want Micah to be unhappy? Hasn’t he paid his dues growing up with Kim and Barry? Sure he has. They should want him to be in love. Kim’s pushing for a marriage between Micah and Veronica – fans are pushing for a split. Both are on the wrong tracks. Micah needs time to live in his relationship and experience it. He just needs the freedom to live. The possible gold digger Micah star is protective of Veronica – why punish such a gentlemanly sort for caring about a woman? It doesn’t make any sense.
