A recently evicted Big Brother Naija (No Lose Guard) housemate and one-half of Team Tami, Toyosi Bakare, has admitted that she should have been more active during her one-week stay in the house.

Speaking in an interview with Saturday Beats, she said, “If there was something we (Team Tami) would have done differently, we would have been more active and not laidback. We would have associated with people in time.”

Elaborating on how her partner’s relationships with other housemates influenced her own interactions, she said, “After the altercation (that her team mate, Damilola, had with some other housemates) at the kitchen, whenever they (other housemates) saw me, they would keep quiet. It felt like they were being careful around me. It was like a transfer of aggression.”

On how she felt being evicted just one week into the show, Bakare said, “We were sad, but we took it in good faith. We just need to process our feelings separately, so we can move forward from it.”

On why they went to the show, Bakare stated that they wanted to show the world that there was still genuine friendship, especially among women.

Asked about what her next step would be, she said, “I will go back to my beauty business, and launch my own beauty line. I would also like to try filmmaking.”
